Thermador Range Problems We Fix
Oven runs cold or overshoots
On Thermador dual-fuel the oven is electric while the top is gas, so a temperature complaint is an electric-side fault — usually a drifted temperature sensor or a relay that is not closing, not anything to do with the burners.
Star Burner lighting unevenly
The star port geometry traps spill where a round ring would shed it. A burner that lights at one point and crawls round the ring is almost always ports, and it is cleaned and re-tested before any part is quoted.
ExtraLow simmer scorching
The low-simmer function cycles the burner instead of holding a small flame. When the control drifts you get scorching at a setting that used to be safe — a control symptom rather than a burner one.
Convection uneven or noisy
A failing convection motor or element gives you one-sided browning before it gives you a dead oven. Noise from the fan on a cold start is the early warning most people ignore.
Failed after a self-clean cycle
Self-clean runs the cavity extremely hot and is a well-known way to take out a thermal fuse, an element or a control board. If the range died during or just after cleaning, say so — it points the diagnosis immediately.
Door will not seal or latch
A dropped hinge or tired gasket on a heavy pro-style door lets heat out and throws off every bake. Cheapest fix on the list and the one most often blamed on the thermostat.

Thermador Range Clients in DFW
Victor came out and worked really hard on getting our outdated oven and mic combo working. It needed a part which they found and ordered. After it came in, they replaced it however it seemed like other issues might be existing with it. I do greatly appreciate all his work towards attempting to repair it.
This is the best appliance repair service in the DFW area. They are honest and forth coming. They came to my house to do an oven repair warranty for free on Dec 23, 2022, eve. The Samsung heating element shorted out twice, an MFG design flaw. They fixed in 3 hours. Wife was really happy.
Quick response. Inexpensive service. Refrigerator fixed
Awesome work- came out and replaced our hot water heater same day. Thank you!

Thermador Range Repair FAQ
Most common: clogged burner ports from food debris (especially after boil-overs), failed igniter electrode, faulty spark switch, or a bad igniter module. Our technicians check all components and replace only what failed — no parts swapping shotgun approach.
Continuous clicking after the burner is off = moisture in the igniter switch or a failed igniter module. Usually happens after a boil-over gets liquid into the burner area. On gas ranges, a stuck igniter is a safety concern — call us promptly.
