Error Codes (E-codes)
Thermador refrigerators display E10–E51 codes covering sensors, compressors, defrost heaters, and control boards. A reset clears the display but doesn't fix the root cause. We diagnose the underlying component failure behind each code.
Loud Compressor Noise
Clicking, banging, or continuous humming points to compressor wear, refrigerant pressure imbalance, or a failing start relay. On dual-compressor Freedom units, we test each compressor independently to identify the source.
Freezer Section Over-Freezing
Defrost system failure causes ice accumulation on the evaporator coil. This blocks airflow and leads to inconsistent temperatures across compartments. Defrost heater, thermostat, or defrost timer replacement resolves it.

Dual-Compressor System
Freedom Collection 30", 36", and 48" column refrigerators use two independent compressors — one for the fresh food zone, one for the freezer. When one fails, the other may continue running normally. A generic technician may misread this and recommend full replacement. We test each circuit independently.
Column Evaporator Configurations
30" and 36" columns use a different evaporator layout than the 48" model. Accessing the evaporator for cleaning or replacement requires removing specific panel configurations that vary by column width. We know the exact disassembly sequence for each model.
